Walk in the Warsaw (Poland). Fort V Ryżowa

Welcome to our walking tour of Fort V at Ryżowa, an incredible piece of history in the heart of Warszawa. Built between 1887 and 1890 as part of the city's 19th-century defensive ring, the polygonal fort - designed for up to 642 soldiers - later became a cultural venue, hosting outdoor performances of Moniuszko's opera "Halka" in 1925. Today it stands as one of the best-preserved 19th-century military fortresses in Europe, its underground tunnels and barracks open to explore.
